GAIL McDANIEL PARKINS

Gail was the kindest, most generous person I have ever known. Her smile made you always feel safe and loved. My Mother, Gail, lost her courageous battle with ovarian cancer at age 56. Diagnosed in November,"1999, she endured debulking surgeries, continuous chemotherapy and dozens of hospital stays during her two year battle with this dreaded disease. Throughout it all she remained positive and hopeful.
Gail was born and raised in Dallas, Texas although after teaching elementary school for 27 years she called Fayetteville, NC home. She has two children, my brother Wayne, and myself and now has four grandchildren: Emily, Brooke, Emerson and Lindsay. They will hear stories about her forever.
My Mother loved to shop, go to the movies, eat out, travel with friends but most of all she loved her family. She devoted most of her life to making sure everyone else around her was happy. She has given so much to so many.
This event was inspired to honor her life and memory.
I love you Mom, we all do.
