Memory Of Barbara Mayfield Nicholas
My dearest friend Barbara Mayfield Nicholas passed  May 16, 2010, after a long battle of Ovarian Cancer.  Barbara's bright smile and beautiful spirit will live on forever.  She had encouraged many during her battles,  first with Breast Cancer and than Ovarian Cancer.

This journey as she called it..lasted for twenty years.  Her family and friends watched with amazement how she walked this path of endless surgeries, chemo, radiation, experimental medication.  Barbara continued to keep a positive outlook, love of life and kept us all graced with her love of laughter.   A nurse by profession.  Barbara would put on her little scarf, draw on some eyebrows and be back to comfort her patients and the glow of her spirit would light up the room. Barbara taught me to dance in life even if you wake up one morning and you have two left feet!
