Feb 5, 1941 to April 30, 2007.

Sue Amie was a loving and loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was Nana to all.  She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, four daughters, eight grandchildren and four (so far) great-grandchildren.

My mom would be very proud that her family has taken up this cause.  She lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and was diagnosed about two weeks after Hurricane Katrina devastated our hometown of Biloxi.  She fought until the very end, never giving up with my dad by her side every second of the way.  Through chemo, operations, losing her hair she never lost her sense of humor or her love for her family.

Although her children have spread out over the country we come together every year to support and raise money for Ovarian Cancer awareness and research. We have family participating from Colorado, Texas, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi and Raleigh.  We have participated since the Sept. after her passing.

We love and miss you Nana.
